You are invited to attend the IWS Commencement on Sunday, June 17 at 5:00 PM. This ceremony is a service of worship including a celebration of the Lord’s Table. Dr. Christopher A. Hall will be the guest preacher.
Dr. Hall is chancellor of Eastern University and dean of Palmer Theological Seminary. He is the author of a number of books, including Reading Scripture with the Church Fathers, Learning Theology with the Church Fathers, Worshiping with the Church Fathers and The Trinity (with Roger Olson). He is an editor-at-large for Christianity Today, and is associate editor of the Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture series (IVP). Chris holds a BA in History from UCLA, MA in Biblical Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary, Th.M. from Regent College (Vancouver, B.C.), M.Phil. from Drew University and Ph.D. in Systematic and Historical Theology from Drew University.
This Communion service will also feature music led by faculty, alumni and students and local friends of the IWS community. Nationally renowned organist and IWS trustee David Witt of Raleigh, NC will be the featured organist. The service is free and open to the public.
