Nov 21, 2016: Return to God’s Narrative

Robert E. Webber

If we are to narrate the world once again by God’s story, then the church, theological reflection, worship, spirituality and our life in the world must be returned to God’s narrative and reformed by the story of what God is doing in the world. Furthermore, we must unlearn the ways that the ministries of the church have been corrupted by cultural accommodation—civil religion, rationalism, privatism, consumerism and pragmatism.
