Apr 13, 2020: A New Day

Robert E. Webber

We need both Christmas and Easter. There is no death and resurrection without the incarnation. Nevertheless, the very center of our faith is found in the events of the three great days, and the greatest of these days is the glorious and wondrous day of the resurrection. For on this day the new day of the re-creation of the world has begun. This theme of “re-creation,” of the “beginning again,” of the “new day” runs . . . throughout the entire seven weeks of the Easter season.
