Nov 2, 2020: The Presence of the Future

Robert E. Webber

The church, in her worship, her theology, her mission, and her spirituality, is to incarnate Jesus Christ in visible form. The question then is, “What kind of Christ have we incarnated?” When an outsider looks at the life of our church, or at our own life for that matter, what image of Christ do we bear? . . . [We] are called to act as the presence of the future, the eschatological community of the world made new through Christ.
