[God] re-creates and makes all things new in Jesus Christ. God’s embrace in Christ calls us who are in him to return to God’s original purposes in creating us and the world. Our spiritual life is situated in this embrace of God. Because God embraces us, we embrace God and God’s vision for our lives and the world.
