I am pleased to announce that the IWS Board of Trustees has appointed the Rev. Dr. Constance Cherry as the President of IWS.
Dr. Cherry has served as the Acting President of IWS since March 2024. During her tenure she has led IWS with integrity and a pastor’s heart. She has managed the many facets of IWS with spiritual discernment and skill. IWS is in a good place because of her leadership.
Dr. Cherry has been on the faculty of IWS since its inception, invited by Bob Webber himself. Countless students have benefited from her teaching in the doctoral program and her active leadership in the IWS community. She is an accomplished author and international leader and speaker, drawing from her service as a pastor and member of the academy.
We are delighted to welcome Dr. Cherry with this new title. She brings with her a love for Jesus, a commitment to IWS and its mission, and a vision for IWS’s future.
