Jan 29, 2018: Form Communicates

Robert E. Webber

Is it being faithful to Christ to throw together prayer, Scripture, and hymns to “fill in” until the sermon? Is it faithful to Christ to have an order that “doesn’t go anywhere”? . . . Since form does communicate, we must not only rid ourselves of a poor form that doesn’t bring us into resolve, but we must ask: How can order carry the worshiper through the Gospel and the experience of salvation?
